Every new situation, a new place puts the till evidence in different new light. Not only the new cultural environment and its elements seem to be unusual, but the universality of our own habits is questioned, too. All applicants (mentors and mentees) are offered to take part in an intercultural training. Our training provides to understand the ambiguous situations arising from intercultural encounters, and to find an answer to the misunderstandings and conflicts issued from the encounter with the Other. The training takes two days. Participation is optional but recommended. Fees (tuition, travel fee) and accommodation costs are financed by the Program. |
